Summary

Jira Markdown Export processes your Jira ticket data entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit ticket content to our servers.

Data we access

Jira ticket data: Fetched from Atlassian using your existing browser session (cookies). Used only to generate Markdown on your device.
Extension settings: Stored locally in Chrome (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync) for preferences, export counters, and Pro status.
Payment status: ExtensionPay may contact extensionpay.com to verify Pro license status. See ExtensionPay’s privacy policy on that site.

Data we do NOT collect

No analytics or telemetry
No ticket content logging
No third-party data sharing (except ExtensionPay for licensing)
No clipboard read access

Website content (Chrome Web Store disclosure)

When you use this extension on Jira Cloud, it reads ticket content from pages and APIs on *.atlassian.net that you already have open. That content is converted to Markdown locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to the developer’s servers.

Data retention

Export timestamps (free tier counter) are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device until pruned (older than 24 hours) or you uninstall the extension.
